For a right triangle, what is the measure of leg b if leg a=3 in. and leg c=5 in.? Explain how you found your answer, and express b by finding the square root of the area of the square on leg b. In other words, don't simplify the radical.

    The area to leg b is 4in.
    1)c sq - a sq = b sq
    2)5 sq - 3 sq = b sq
    3)25 - 9 =16
    4)sqrt of 16= 4

    2.3 sq + 5 sq = c sq
    3.9 + 25 = 34
    4. square root of 34= 5. 83.

    2. 3-5= b sq.

    3.25-9=16

    4.SQ. ROOT OF 16 =4

    Square on Leg B = 16. 16 sqrd. (squared)= 256 UN sq.

    2.5^2-3^2=a^2

    3.25-9=16in

    4.square root of 16 is 4 a= 4in

    s1: c*2 - a*2 = b*2

    s2: 5*2 - 9*2 = b*2

    s3: 25 - 9 = 16in

    s4: SQ. root of 16 = 4in.

    A=4IN.
